Sauces and Flavored Butters
Take your toast, bagels, muffins, pancakes, and waffles to new heights with this delicious flavored butter made with fresh strawberries. It wakes up boring breakfasts and makes a delightful snack any time of day.
- 1 cup (2 sticks) Challenge Unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
- ¾ cup finely chopped strawberries (wash and pat dry prior to chopping)
- 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1Beat all ingredients with an electric mixer at high speed until smooth.
2Butter mixture can be used while still soft; or it can be rolled into a cylinder in parchment paper or plastic wrap and refrigerated or frozen, then sliced into teaspoon-sized rounds.
3Allow 2 or 3 teaspoons per serving.
