Administrative Assistant

Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills, able to interface and work with Vice President, Technical Sales Manager, support staff, customers, and vendors to maintain and increase efficiency. Assist the Technical Sales Manager with special projects.

Must be detail-oriented with strong computer, communication, and organizational skills including the following abilities:

Responsibilities

Humanitarian Aid. Assist Technical Sales Manager with:
  • Order entry
  • Preparation of shipping documents
  • Invoices and package labels
Maintain inventory spreadsheets for multiple warehouses
Update cost and pricing spreadsheets
Process vendor invoices
Customer Order Entry
Maintain Customer Ship Log Spreadsheet
Prepare and Ship Product Samples and Documents
General Duties (Miscellaneous)
  • Filing
  • Copying
  • Faxing
  • Scanning
  • Prepare shipping labels (UPS & FedX)

Skills

Strong Excel, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AS-400 knowledge desirable. Will train on AS400 and PowerPoint. Minimum 5 years experience in Administrative and Customer Service position. Administrative background in Food, Nutritional Science, and Export a plus.
