It’s hard to believe that the holidays are almost here – where did the time go?! At OXO, we’re no strangers to the slicing, dicing, chopping and roasting that comes along with Thanksgiving and all of the other holidays this time of year. It is our fundamental belief that having the right tools at your fingertips makes you comfortable and confident in the kitchen. And feeling comfortable and confident in the kitchen can make the difference between serving up a bird that you can be proud of and one that you might hope heads south for the winter.

For nearly 20 years, OXO has been dedicated to creating tools that make everyday living easier. In that time, we’ve introduced over 800 household tools, each based on the philosophy of Universal Design, which takes as many needs as possible into consideration in the design process. The result is a product that is easy – and fun – to use by the widest range of users – young and old, male and female, lefties and righties, and gourmands such as yourself. The principles of Universal Design result in a Carving and Cutting Board with tapered grips for easy lifting, even with a turkey on board; a Smooth Potato Masher with a horizontal handle to give you the leverage you need to make mashed potatoes with no lumps (really!); and airtight, watertight, leak-proof TOP Containers to store those delicious leftovers.

We were so thrilled when the folks at Challenge Dairy came to us with their “Taste of the West” sponsorship – it was such a natural fit. Like our devotion to the right tools, Challenge has a commitment to providing the right ingredients. We’ve been keeping up on the mouth-watering dishes that have been posted and may try out more than a few in our test kitchen as our own pre-holiday prep.
